Douglass receives second Big 12 offer

Getting out to camps has sure helped Leander, Texas defensive end Ryan Douglass get on the board with offers. Missouri was his first, but another Big 12 team has joined the party.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Douglass received his next offer from Oklahoma State last Thursday. Though the Cowboys are in his early top four, one team is way ahead of the rest and he's planning to show his stuff at their camp in July.

"My top four right now would be Texas A&M, Baylor, Missouri, and Oklahoma State," Douglass said. "A&M is my favorite. I just like their program and I've been there a bunch of times for junior days and stuff like that. I'm going to their camp in July and that will be it for the summer."
This past weekend, Douglass took in the Baylor camp. He says that he did well and the Bears coaching staff told him that they'll continuet to evaluate him heavily into the fall.
Coach Brian Jones from Missouri and coach Doug Meacham continue to text message Douglass quite a bit and are both recruiting him very hard. His decision is not something that's going to be on a dead set date.
"I think I'll decide right before the season starts, but if I don't, I'll wait until the end of my senior year," he said. "I doubt I'd decided in the middle of the year unless something comes I can't turn down."
Douglass was an honorable mention all-CenTex selection and a first-team all-district member.
