Dorton not rushing decision

Malik Dorton flirted with the idea of making an early commitment but the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star defensive end said he wants to wait a while longer.
The 6-foot-3, 227-pound prospect definitely had UCLA out in front and the Bruins remain in very good shape but Dorton has seen other schools get involved and before shutting things down he wants to see what happens next.

Colorado is the latest offer for Dorton, who also has Arizona State, Boise State, Fresno State, Ole Miss, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah, Utah State and Washington State on his growing list.
"Right now I'm definitely not in a rush," Dorton said. "I'm taking it slow. I may make a decision in the spring or the summer but that's about it.
"I want to see who else gets involved before I make any decisions."
There is new interest coming in as well for Dorton, rated as the No. 192 prospect in the 2014 class by Rivals.com.
The St. John Bosco standout said Oklahoma, Arizona and Oregon are showing much more interest and the Ducks are definitely a team that has intrigued him through the recruiting process.
UCLA still has to be considered the favorite though.
Dorton has expressed high interest in the Bruins all along and if he were to make an early commitment the Bruins looked to be in good shape to land his pledge.
