Doran Grant is starting over

Rivals250 to Watch prospect Doran Grant is re-opening his recruitment. The Rivals250 to Watch prospect, and top defensive back in Ohio, had narrowed his long list of offers to a shorter list of schools that included Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan, West Virginia, USC, and Penn State.
"I still think those are great schools, and they all have a chance to make my final cut," Grant said. "But I just feel I should think about all of the offers I have received, even the ones recently, and not just focus on some of the schools that offered me early in the process."

Grant will spend much of his summer break seeing many of the schools that have offered, from coast to coast. He'll wrap up his final exams on June 10th, then immediately hop on a bus with the Raw Talent tour and camp at North Carolina the following day. That bus tour will make stops at Wake Forest, West Virginia, Ohio State, and Michigan.
Grant and the Raw Talent team will later fly out to the west coast, and take another bus tour that includes stops at USC, UCLA, California, Stanford, and Oregon.
"There are schools I should consider that I haven't been able to see this Spring because of how far away they are from home," Grant said. "I want to see what they have to offer and if one of those schools is where I want to play football in college."
Though Grant is opening his recruitment back up, he says he is still looking for the same traits in a college program.
"I want an opportunity to play early, not just on special teams, but as a defensive back," Grant said. "I feel I have worked hard and prepared myself to make an impact early in my career. I am looking for a great coaching staff, and also a great student environment, not just athletically, but academically.
