Dont bet on Booker

There are few sure things in life. And one of them definitely isn’t football recruiting. So fans thinking that Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure all-purpose back Lorenzo Booker is a sure thing for either USC or UCLA, might not want to head to Vegas and try their luck this weekend.
“That’s not the case at all,” Booker, a five-star prospect, said when asked about the talk that it’s only a two-team race.
“Those two schools are only 15 minutes away, so of course I’m looking at them closely, but I don’t know where I’m going to go. You know, I’ve been a Florida State fan since I was a kid. I could go up there and commit on my visit. You never know. I would say that’s pretty unfair for the fans to say that about me.
“I really don’t have a leader.”
In fact, Booker said he’s even adding more teams to his list of favorites.
“I’ve added Oregon to my list after talking to their coaches,” Booker said. “I hadn’t had a chance to speak with their coaches, but I really liked talking to them. I finally spoke with the head coach and that was a big deal. They are now one of my top schools.”
Oregon is one of his top schools on a list that is back up to 10, even though several visits have been set up.
“My top ten schools are Florida State, USC, UCLA, Washington, Notre Dame, Michigan, Clemson, Tennessee, Oregon and Texas,” Booker said. “I’m still scheduled to visit Florida State on Nov. 9th and Washington on Dec.14th. I’m thinking of taking visits to Texas and Notre Dame. That would leave one more visit open.”
When asked if any of the ten schools stood out more than the others, Booker said a few did for sure.
“My top five are UCLA, USC, Florida State, Washington and Oregon,” he said.
