Dogbe recaps trips to Rutgers, Temple

Morris Plains (N.J.) Parsippany Hills defensive end Michael Dogbe has an early offer from Temple, and lots of other schools in his neck of the woods are hinting that they could offer down the road.
Dogbe picked up that offer from Temple within the last month and he is finding out more about the Owls by the week.

He actually visited the Big East school for a spring practice and he was able to meet with all of the coaches on that trip.
"We've been in contact ever since," he said. "I loved it there. I just liked the players and how they brought the energy to the field. I liked the overall feeling there."
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound New Jersey prospect visited his home state school of Rutgers as well. Though Rutgers has not offered, Dogbe was thrilled to be on campus.
"Oh man, I loved [Rutgers]. Everything over there is about family. I really liked that and the facilities are outstanding," he said.
Dogbe's trip to Rutgers was about two weeks ago.
UConn, Penn State, Florida, Villanova, Monmouth and Old Dominion are among the other schools that are recruiting Dogbe.
Dogbe said some schools are recruiting him as a linebacker while others are recruiting him as a defensive end. Last year he had 116 tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles.
