Does Texas QB still favor Cougars

Corpus Christi (Texas) Calallen quarterback Jordan Chambless had placed the Houston Cougars in the top spot last month. Are they still there?
“Houston still the No. 1 team on my list,” the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Chambless said. “I’ve got some other schools that are making a move into my list too.”

“Kansas just called today,” he said. “Missouri has shown some interest too lately. Both of those would be good situations because they either have a quarterback graduating or one that will be soon. Kansas had offered me last year. And, I had kind of eliminated them. But, they’re getting back in it. I could get there and play fairly early.”
The three-star rated signal caller has not lined up any official visits.
“I’m still looking at getting them lined up,” he said. “But, nothing yet.”
In addition to the Jayhawks, Rice and Houston have called recently.
“We are 5-0 on the season,” he said. “We are doing good. I’ve thrown for close to 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns. I just want to keep working hard and getting better.”
Chambless had the opportunity to take in the Houston- Mississippi State game earlier this year.
“I’m going to try to go to another Houston game and maybe I can get to a Texas A&M game, too.”
