Does Tennessee offer change things

The race to land one of the nation’s top offensive centers has just suddenly gotten a whole lot more interesting. Despite a soft commitment to Auburn, Dalton, Ga., three-star offensive lineman Cameron Mayo has just picked up a new scholarship offer that might change things.
“Cam was just offered by Tennessee,” his father, Bill Mayo, said. “He’s now canceled his visit to Clemson this weekend. He’s already visited Ole Miss and will visit Auburn on the 16th and Tennessee on the 23rd.”

Mayo did like his official visit to Ole Miss and gave it an “eight or a nine” on a scale from one to 10. But after the visit he said he remained committed to Auburn. But what makes this situation now even more interesting is that Bill Mayo was an All-American offensive lineman for the Tennessee Volunteers from 1980-84.
Cameron, who not surprisingly grew up following the Vols, likes to compare himself on the field to his father.
"My dad was an All-American at Tennessee so I kind of compare myself to him a little,” Mayo said.
“He helps me out a lot, and I look up to him. I watch his tapes sometimes and see what he did. It was incredible to see the things that he did at Tennessee. It might be kind of fun to do those types of things also."
