"I want everyone to know that I'm keeping my options open," said cornerback/athlete Justin King. "But there are a few schools that I'm really interested in at the moment. Southern Cal, Michigan, Penn State, Texas and Florida have all caught my attention, and so have some others."
At 6-foot-0 and 180-pounds the Pittsburgh (Pa.) Gateway athlete runs the 40-yard dash in an excellent 4.3 seconds and is considered one of the most versatile players available in the Class of 2005.
"I'd like to visit a few of those schools I mentioned that I'm really interested in, but I probably won't be able to get to all of them since they're so far apart. I want to camp at places where I'll be on a big stage with a chance to show off what I can do. I'm the same way with the school I want to go to. I want to play at a school with a lot of football tradition. I also want to go somewhere with good academic support for athletes."
King has a vertical leap of 37 inches and carries a 3.0 GPA. He has offers from all five schools he mentioned, in addition to many others. As a junior he had 214 carries for 1,760 yards.
