Does Iowa visit boost Hawkeyes

"Yes sir," defensive lineman James McClinton responded when asked if he made an official visit to Iowa over the weekend. "It was nice."
"It was very nice. There's so much fan support. The coaching staff is great. The town is nice. It's not too big or small."

"I think I still like Kansas best, but I'm starting to like Iowa too. Kansas is my favorite, but I do like Iowa."
"SMU and Houston are close to home. I might change my mind and want to stay close to home."
"I'll probably decide in mid-January. I want to give coach Ferentz a chance to make a home visit."
The 6-foot-1 and 289 pound McClinton made 65 tackles including eight sacks during his senior season at Lakeview (Texas) Centennial. McClinton is the Rivals.com number 24 defensive tackle prospect with a three star rating. He has made official visits to all four schools he mentioned.
