Does DT Young have a favorite

Recruiting is picking up for Durham (N.C.) Hillside defensive tackle Eric Young. The 6-foot-3, 325-pounder has leaned up in recent months and that has gotten the attention of a handful of colleges.
"I've lost a lot of weight, around 50-pounds," he said. "I'm more of a player now. I play the whole game instead of certain plays, I'm breathing better and in better shape.

"I feel I'm doing pretty good. I know that I could always do better."
Young continues to hold offers from NC State and North Carolina A&T. However, a new school is coming in.
"Notre Dame stopped by the school on Friday to let me know they were interested in me," he said. "They told me they had to get my SAT score, but they could work with me. They just said they were very interested."
Meanwhile, Young maintains NC State is still high on his list.
"I'm really interested in NC State," he said. "I talked to Coach Swepson and Coach Willis.
"I visited there for the Murray State game. I got to talk to some of the players and I really like the environment. It's like a family coaching environment and everybody is respectful about what they do. I kind of like that. I do know I want to go back when they play Maryland (November 7th) later this year."
While the Wolfpack may have an advantage, the two-star prospect claims no decision is forthcoming.
"I'm still waiting until later and my coach and I decide on it."
