Dodge City OL has one offer on table

One of the better offensive linemen in the Kansas junior college ranks has his first scholarship offer on the table and is considering several other schools from all over the nation. So who was the first to step up and offer Dodge City (Kan.) Community College star Jeremy Darveau?
“I have an offer from UCF,” Darveau, who is 6-foot-6 and 304 pounds, said. “I’m also getting regular calls from Texas Tech, Rutgers, Middle Tennessee, Kansas and Indiana.”

Darveau said at this point he’s pretty open to many schools but honestly is looking to get back toward the Southeast since he’s from South Carolina originally.
“It would be nice to get back into civilization,” he said. “Dodge City isn’t exactly huge, and it would be nice to get somewhere where it’s pretty nice. Playing time will also be another huge factor for me. I only have two years to play two seasons, so it would be nice to get out there and get on the field pretty quickly.”
Darveau said his main strength is pass protection.
“I’m pretty good against the pass rush, but I also use my feet and get myself into a good position,” Darveau said.
