Dockery likes Fresno State trip

Palm Desert, Calif., wide receiver/defensive back prospect James Dockery has now taken four official visits this recruiting season. The soft Oregon State commitment was just getting off the freeway on his way home from his visit to Fresno State this weekend, and he had a lot to say about the Bulldogs.
"The team and players are just real cool guys," Dockery said. "The guys that they brought in for a visit with me were cool guys, too. I had a good time with them."

The majority of his time was spent with the Bulldogs junior wide receiver Paul Williams, and the two appear to have gotten along quite well.
"I spent my free time with Paul," he said. "He's a cool guy. He let me know the ins and outs about the program and the coaches and kind of let me know what to look for in everything."
When he was not spending time with the players he spent time on campus and interacting with the Fresno State coaches.
"We went around and saw the campus," he said. "We looked at the dorms and the practice facility. Then we went to the field for a little bit. After that we all went back to coach Pat Hill's house for dinner."
The question now is whether or not the visit will bear any weight in his final decision. At this point Dockery is not quite sure.
"Right now, I am going to get home," he said. "After that I'm going to have to sit down and the think about the trip and then decide how I feel about everything. I know I had a lot of fun, though."
Dockery committed to the Oregon State Beavers in November. He's already also visited Oregon State, Washington and UTEP. BYU is on the schedule for January 6.
