Much was said at the time extoling the performance of Columbus (Ohio) Marion Franklin's Alex Daniels at the NIKE Training Camp at Ohio State in April. Since then scholarship offers have poured in for Daniels, including his two most recent, Ohio State and Oklahoma.
"Ohio State and Oklahoma have offered now," Daniels said. "Both of them came in the mail in the past week. I have 12 offers in writing. And there's six more that haven't come yet."
"Oklahoma and Ohio State are my top two. I don't have a favorite between them. I'm going to wait and take official visits during the season, then decide."

The 6-foot-3 and 220 pounder started at both linebacker and running back during his junior season. Daniels made 28 tackles, intercepted two passes, and rushed for over 600 yards despite missing a couple of games with an ankle injury.
Among Daniels other scholarship offers are Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Bowling Green, Boston College, and Maryland.
