Do Noles lead pack for Florida WR

Three-star Citra (Fla.) North Marion wide receiver Greg Carr is playing his recruitment close to the vest at this point in the season, but offers a few hints here and there about who the major players might be.
“I like a bunch of schools,” he said. “I haven’t really narrowed it down at all. I’m trying to keep an open mind to everyone who has talked to me. I know Florida State’s going to be in there at the end, but past that, I’m not real sure.”

Carr (6-5, 200, 4.55) has offers from FSU, Alabama, Louisville, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh and Michigan State. He’s received phone calls from all of those schools, as well as Georgia, Florida and Boston College in the last week and a half.
There’s another school he’d like to hear from this month.
“Michigan is my favorite college,” he said. “But I’ve never heard anything from them. If they started recruiting me, I’d definitely be interested.”
Carr has yet to set up any official visits. He said he hoped to sit down with his prep coach and arrange a few of those within the next couple of weeks. He hopes to make unofficial visits to FSU and Florida for games in the near future.
As a junior, Carr caught 35 passes for 700 yards and nine touchdowns. He got his senior season off to a huge start last week with an eight-catch, 186-yard performance. He scored one touchdown in the opener.
Academically, he maintains a 2.5 GPA and will take the ACT in October.
