Do Miami changes affect Devlin

Back in July, Rivals250 quarterback Pat Devlin out of Exton (Pa.) Downington East committed to Miami over offers from Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina State and Pittsburgh among others. This week the Hurricanes fired a handful of coaches including the 6-foot-3, 200-pounder's recruiting coach Dan Werner. How does this change affect Miami for the quarterback?
"It doesn't affect me at all," he said. "Miami is still a great school, place and I love the players. I can't wait to see who they plan on bringing in.

"Coach Coker called me earlier today to tell me the news. He basically told me that they were going to make a couple changes and that was about it. He didn't say who they plan to bring in or anything like that, but he told me they'll get back in touch when they know what's going on."
The four-star prospect didn't get a chance to talk to Dan Werner today about the situation.
Meanwhile, Devlin is playing basketball for Downington East as they have struggled to a 2-7 season so far.
"I'm playing alright even though I haven't played in that many games," he said. "Once league play comes around we'll be alright, I think we're just starting to get into it."
The No. 5 pro-style quarterback in the country plans to be at Miami's camp in late June.
