DL Thomas has a top five

Strongside defensive end Cory Thomas's top four of Clemson, Florida, Mississippi State, and Tennessee has remained the same over the last month.
Thomas picked up a Nebraska offer last week and said the Huskers offer "feels good." The Cornhuskers history intrigues the three-star 6-foot-5, 272-pound defensive lineman. Despite, the "Blackshirts" impressive resume they may be on the outside looking in with Thomas.

When asked to name his fifth school in his top five?
Thomas responded, "Miami. I love their tradition." Defensive line coach Jethro Franklin is his lead recruiter for the 'Canes. He is looking to take an official visit to check out what UM has to offer.
Miami already has one Yellowhammer State commitment from quarterback Malik Rosier. Could Thomas make it two? Perhaps. However, he was quick to name the school a top his board.
"Mississippi State is my leader. I'm going to make a decision after taking all of my visits," stated Thomas.
Last fall, he recorded 88 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and eight sacks while leading his team to a Class5A state title runner-up finish.
