DL Robinson gaining interest

One of the more under-the-radar players in the Northeast is defensive lineman Austrian Robinson. The Pawling (N.Y.) Trinity Pawling stand out currently has five offers and visited an ACC school earlier this week.
"It's nice to have these opportunities," said the 6-foot-6, 255-pound Robinson. "I like that I'll be able to have choices when it comes to picking a college."

Robinson's most recent offer is from Boston College.
"I went to Boston College and they offered me," he said. "I had been there before I like it up there. I like that I'll have a chance to come in a play early. They only have five and two of them are seniors. The campus is nice too."
Old Dominion and Elon are some of Robinson's other recent offers.
"Maryland was my first offer," Robinson said. "I don't know that much about them. I'm talking to coach Wilt and coach Johnson on a regular basis. Coach Wilt sounds like he treats his players well. I have a very good relationship with him. I haven't been to Maryland in like four years.
"I went to Rutgers for their junior day," he said. "It was fun. I've been to Rutgers before because my cousin went there but I had never really toured around. I got to see what the coaching staff was all about."
Some schools are starting to recruit Robinson.
"Recently I've been hearing from the University of Miami," said Robinson. "I've also been talking to coaches from Ole Miss, Michigan State, Nebraska and Wisconsin. A lot of coaches are reaching out."
Robinson does not have any more visits scheduled right now.
