DL Nemeth makes his college choice

Wheaton (Ill.) South two star ranked offensive/defensive lineman prospect Grant Nemeth (6-foot-3, 250 pounds) is yet another member of the Tigers to give his verbal commitment. Nemeth gave the coaches from Western Michigan University his verbal commitment on Monday evening after an in home visit by the Broncos head coach Bill Cubit.
"The coaches from Western Michigan came over to make an in home visit tonight," Nemeth said. "I decided to give them my verbal commitment after getting a chance to talk with Coach (Bill) Cubit in my house today. I've very excited to be a Bronco."

Nemeth, who had recruiting interest and offers from Central Michigan, Eastern Illinois and Southern Illinois, hasn't made his official visit to Western Michigan just yet, yet Nemeth is no stranger to the Broncos.
"My sister is already going to Western Michigan, so obviously I'm very familiar with Western Michigan University. My family is very excited about me getting a chance to play there."
Nemeth claims that Western Michigan was always one of his leaders from early on.
"Just the fact that I was so familiar with the school, plus I have some friends at WMU always was a factor for me. Once they hired Coach (Bill) Cubit and also hired a new staff, they really started recruiting me pretty hard again. I really like the new coaches at Western Michigan, and that is what really sold me on giving them my verbal commitment."
"Western Michigan is recruiting me as a defensive lineman. They said that they will see where I fit in best once I'm in camp."
Nemeth is now the fourth D-1 verbal commitment from Wheaton South, joining teammate Dace Richardson (Iowa), Anthony Moeaki (Iowa) and Matt Stevens (Toledo).
