So why did Magee verbal to Purdue?
"It was everything really. From the campus to the coaches and the players, Purdue very early on just felt like the right place for me. My family loves Purdue as well, and I really knew deep inside after I made my official visit that Purdue was the place for me. I decided to cancel all of my set visits tonight and called coach Tiller and gave him my verbal commitment."
Magee also felt that his relationship with the Purdue staff was another big factor in making his final college choice.
"I just have a very special relationship with Coach Tiller and Coach (Mark) Hagen. Coach hagen will be my position coach besides being my recruiting coach, and we get along very well. Also Coach Tiller is very stableand if you look around at what's been happening over the last few weeks with coaches, stability was also an important factor."
"I'm excited about going to Purdue, and so is my family. I feel really good about my choice, and I'm also glad to have the recruiting process over with. I'm relieved and thrilled to be a Boilermaker."
