Oswego, Ill. defensive line prospect Alex Magee (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) has been working hard this spring getting ready for the Nike Football Training Camp.
“I've been working really hard to get ready for the Nike Camp," Alex Magee said. “I know that from talking to a lot of other players that a good performance at the Nike Camp can really boost your recruiting stock, so I'm ready to go."
Magee, who has an offer from the University of Illinois, has been drawing several college coaches to Oswego High School over the last few weeks. "So far Northwestern, USC, Michigan State, Western Michigan, Pittsburgh, Purdue and Arizona have all made in school visits, and Louisville is scheduled to make a visit this week to our school."

Magee has also received a few calls from coaches as well. "Iowa, Michigan and Purdue have called so far, and several coaches have told my coach (Karl Hoinkes) that they will be calling me in May."
Magee is also starting to fill out his summer camp plans. "I'm going to the University of Illinois camp this summer as a team, and I'm also planning to do a one-day camp at Iowa. I might also add a few one-day camps after May."
