DL Howard hoping for four offers

Defensive lineman David Howard has two offers from Division 1-A schools, and other schools are beginning to show a renewed interest in him. Which schools is he leaning towards?
"I have offers from Michigan State and Temple right now, but I'd say those two are just a little below my leaders," said Howard. "My four favorites are Maryland, Virginia, Boston College and Northwestern. None of those four have offered, but I'm hoping they will soon. I'm getting some good feelings from some of the coaches."

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound lineman from Columbia (Md.) Oakland Mills has the ability to play both end and tackle.
"Last year I played just as a defensive end, but this year now that I'm at a new school I'm playing nose guard. I feel like I'm going to be showing coaches my versatility, and that I can do anything they ask me to do on the line. Basically everyone is telling me to send them the film from my first couple of games so they can look at it. If they like it, they're going to offer. I feel like I've played well so far, so I'm confident."
Does Howard have a timeframe for when he'd like to make his decision?
"No, to be honest I don't. That really depends on which schools decide to offer me, so I'm prepared to wait a little while longer."
