DL Howard down to two
Defensive lineman David Howard took an official visit to James Madison over the weekend and he's narrowed things down to two schools.
"I had a really good time at JMU," said Howard. "You could say I have a high interest in them. I'm just looking at JMU and Delaware right now. The schools are pretty similar. This weekend I just basically toured the campus, went out with the guys and saw what life at school there was like.

"I visited Delaware the week before, and I'm glad I went to both in the same general time frame. I can compare them better that way, and they're really pretty similar schools. It's going to be a tough decision."
The 6-foot-3, 259-pound versatile lineman from Silver Spring (Md.) Spring Brook isn't the quickest prospect available but is as strong as just about any lineman in the Maryland/D.C. area. At one point he was considering schools like Boston College, Maryland, Michigan State and Northwestern, but he's looking for a situation with more playing time. Both JMU and Delaware have offered Howard.
"I should be ready to make a decision by the end of the month," he said. "I'll let everything sink in from these visits for a week or two and then sit down and make a decision. Once I decide I won't be going back on what I say, so I want to get it right the first time."
