Southern Methodist University has joined Baylor and Iowa in offering LC Kirkpatrick, the 6-foot-3, 255 pound defensive lineman from Houston, a full scholarship to attend their school.
He continues to hear from Iowa on daily basis and Baylor and Southern Methodist two to three times a week.
Also, he's been hearing from Louisiana State, Miami, Florida, Arkansas, Arizona, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia Tech, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Colorado, Colorado State, USC, Missouri, Michigan State, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Purdue, Clemson, North Carolina State, Kentucky, UCLA, Arizona State and Vanderbilt.
LC said, "I want to go to a school, where I can get a great job after graduation. If you go to Texas A&M, you have a great chance, just because they rank high academically."
As far as the football program, Kirkpatrick said, "I'm looking to be coached well by someone, who can push me to fulfill my potential as a player."
LC Kirkpatrick has 15 tackles on the season so far in a one win and one loss season. His last game was a 34 to 6 win.
He will probably make official visits to Nebraska, Iowa, Miami, Louisiana State and what might be his favorite, Texas A&M.
