Jonathan Landor has cast his lot with Southern Miss.
Landor (6-4, 256, 4.85), who visited Southern Miss on
Dec. 20, said he picked the Eagles over Memphis and Northwestern State.
"I committed to USM last week," he said. "The main
decisions were that two of my old high school teammates are there, and they're
known for playing real good defense over there. Plus, I really liked the
defensive coaches a lot. They're high on me as a defensive end, which is the
position I've always wanted to play.
As a senior at Fontainebleau High School, Landor was
hampered by a lingering high ankle sprain which limited his action to six games.
He still managed to come through with eight sacks on the year.
