DL Brown nabs UK offer

The roller coaster ride for JUCO DL Fadol Brown to land at a BCS program took another turn today as Florida International has granted him a release after he heard back from the NCAA.
Brown started his career at FIU, but left the program after Mario Cristobal was let go. He landed at Fulton (Miss.) Itawamba C.C. after spring ball wrapped up for the Golden Panthers.

Now he is on his way to a new home. Again. This time it will likely be his final transfer.
Brown said, "FIU released me to attend any school outside of C-USA and Miami. I'm happy. Now its time for me take some visits."
It looks like he will wind up in the SEC. He reports a new offer from Kentucky to go with offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss.
He has plans to make trips to Fayetteville, Oxford, and Starkville in the coming week or so in addition to possibly checking out Lexington. Don't count out the aforementioned Cristobal, now at Alabama.
When asked about a chance to reunite with his former head coach?
"They are knocking at the door. It's tough because I want to make a decision in the next two weeks. I will probably redshirt this year, but then I will have three more years to play after that. I'm looking for the school with the best fit for me," stated Brown.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder made it clear that no one is leading, but the schools that are recruiting him the hardest are the 'Hawgs, Bulldogs, and Rebels.
