NOTES…

Notre Dame- Brown liked the culture and family atmosphere. He went to the workout and thought everybody works hard for each other. Brown liked the coaching staff and could tell they care for their players. Coach Joseph explained the situation to him and how Notre Dame is a great place. Brown’s former teammate and current Notre Dame player Kofi Wardlow loves the place, the team, the people he’s met, and the culture.

Northwestern- Brown really liked the coaches. Coach Fitzgerald made a strong impression with his enthusiasm. He liked the players and everything about hanging out with them. He also liked the atmosphere and education. Getting to see the environment was big because he saw how everybody looks out for each other and things aren’t stressful.

Cal- Brown said the visit went well. He liked coach Wilcox and coach Alexander and knows what the program is being built into. Brown thinks it will be something special in a few years. It doesn’t matter to him which conference he plays in because they all play the big teams.

-Brown doesn’t think he can go wrong with his decision and distance from home won’t matter too much because all of the schools are a flight away.

-Brown will decide prior to Signing Day announce on Signing Day.

RIVALS’ REACTION…

Brown doesn’t give much away in interviews but he made it pretty clear off camera that he has not decided which school he will pick yet. Northwestern and Notre Dame have to like where they stand right now but it feels like the Fighting Irish have the edge. According to people around Brown, what he would get on the football field and in the classroom just seems a bit stronger than either of the two other schools. It also helps that Brown has a former teammate in Kofi Wardlow at Notre Dame.
