Dixon working hard for upcoming combines

Junior running back Reggie Dixon out of Plainfield, N.J. continues to hold three offers. While the 5-foot-7, 158-pounder waits for more scholarships, he's keeping busy in preparation for upcoming combines.
"Right now I'm doing track and actually it's been pretty good," he stated. "Recently I came in first place winning the state championship in the 55 meter dash. I was told I tied the record of Carl Lewis. Actually I felt I could have run faster. I kind of slipped right away. I'll have to break the record another day."

On the football front, Dixon continues to claim offers from Boston College, Rutgers and Temple.
"All the other schools are waiting for the combines to happen," he said. I know Connecticut, North Carolina State and Syracuse have said that. I plan to go to the Nike Camp in Baltimore and the Elite College Combine."
In the near future, the 2008 running back hopes to make a trip up to Boston College.
"I want to go and meet all the players, see what I think about the program and size of the campus."
Does Dixon have any leaders?
"I'm still wide open," he said. "I never really got into college football until I started high school. I'm just looking for a good education, environment, nice weather and a good school size."
