Dixon talks Oklahoma State visit, upcoming decision

Last week, Lyn-Dixon cut his list to two schools, Clemson and Oklahoma State. He also announced that he would commit this week and sign during the early signing period.

The 5-foot-11, 177 pound running back out of Butler (Ga.) Tylor County checked out the Cowboys in Stillwater this weekend and the visit went very well.

"The OSU visit was great and I really enjoyed it," said Dixon. "What impressed me was the people and the atmosphere. It seems like everyone gets along up there and I like that."

The Oklahoma State coaches compared Dixon to some big-time players.

"They said I that I remind them of Justice Hill and some of Tyreek Hill. They said If I come in and put the work in, then I will play. The coaches also said to me that I have a chance to come in to play early.":

Many from the outside have been talking all about Clemson in this race, but could that have been premature? According to Dixon, the Cowboys are very much in this race.

"This visit helped them out a lot with me," said Dixon. "Looking at their offense, I saw it wouldn’t be a problem with me fitting in.

"To be honest, this is going to be the hardest decision in my life. I’m going to pray and look into a lot of things before making this decision."

That decision will be made on Tuesday. Dixon said he will announce his decision at 8:45pm, then sign with that school Wednesday.
