Dismuke impressed by Michigan offer

The Michigan offer is really big for Marquel Dismuke not only because he knows some of the program's history but also because how his recruitment has been handled.
The four-star defensive back who recently transferred to Calabasas, Calif., said he realizes the Michigan coaching staff just got to town so landing an offer this quickly from the Wolverines means he must be a major priority for the staff.

Dismuke, who looked good at the B2G Elite 16 7v7 this past weekend, said he's especially appreciative of the Michigan offer because he realizes the coaches are just getting settled and to offer this fast means a lot.
"One of the coaches contacted me and told me he was going to call me in a little bit," Dismuke said. "After that he called me and I got on the phone with the defensive coordinator.
"They haven't been there that long so for them to come in and to recruit me that fast, it was pretty big."
The Calabasas standout also said "it's pretty big" that Jim Harbaugh is now the Wolverines' coach and that he will definitely take a serious look at the Big 10 team moving forward.
Arizona State, Cal, Colorado State, Mississippi State, San Diego State and Utah have also offered and Dismuke has landed a bunch of interest in recent months from Pac-12 teams. His Team 19 squad is expected to visit Texas schools this weekend and a trip to the SEC is coming this spring.
With the offer now in from Michigan, Dismuke said it's premature to name any favorites but he does plan to take a closer look at the program.
"I'm considering them," Dismuke said. "Just the coaches that they have over there I want to see how it is."
