Dishon Changes Things A Bit

One of the to playmakers in the state of Florida has long been thought to be a strong lean to Florida State. But, is that still the case?
Punta Gorda (FL) Charlotte wide receiver Dishon Platt has been a member of just about every top 100 list known to man in the recruiting world. When you receive all of that attention finding a scholarship offer is not usually a major problem. With Platt he is not concerned about that either.

"I have probably about 40 or 50 offers," he said. "I sort of want to stay near home, but it could change. It is going to be whatever school I feel comfortable with."
Do you have any at this time that are catching your eye?
"I am getting a lot of mail but I usually only open the hand written ones now," the 6-foot-0 and 170 pound talent said. "Florida State and South Florida are at the top of my schools. I also would include LSU and Georgia close behind. I might even add Miami to the list."
What are you going to be looking for on your visits?
"I am looking for the back ground to the school," he said. "I am just looking for a place that feels like home. I am definitely going to be looking at the rosters and playing time."
With that in mind do you have a time frame for the process?
"I could decide at anytime," he said. "I will probably take my visits before my decision. I am planning on taking all five, but if I take the one that makes me feel right I might just decide then."
Whether the star, that runs the 40-yard dash in 4.3 seconds, decides tomorrow or in February he will make headlines. Just like he plans to do in college.
