Dion Guy starts to consider visits

Linebacker Dion Guy out of Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson holds one official offer from Michigan State. The 6-foot-3, 217-pounder is beginning to look at visits to schools. Has he set up any dates?
"Recruiting has been going great so far," he said. "The coaches have been talking to me about how things are going this season. Virginia Tech is supposed to come to I believe the Ballou game this year. I continue to hear from Colorado and Illinois who have verbal offers out. They both want to see some film of my games this season. I've also started to receive some mail from Wake Forest.

"As for Michigan State, I'm looking at an official there on December 1st. They've been recruiting me since I was in 10th grade and it looks look a good situation for me personally."
Guy maintains he still has no leader. What does he want in a college?
"First of all, academics are important. Nothing beats education," he said. "I also want a chance to start my first or second year. Then, I want a staff that is together and of course I want to win."
The two-star prospect played well in his first game recording seven tackles, two for loss and an interception.
"The season is going well," he said. "We lost last week to Good Counsel. We got a lot of talent and I think we've got the potential to win it this year in our league."
