Dillon excited for spring ball

Shane Dillon is excited for spring practice at El Cajon (Calif.) Christian and rightfully so because the pro-style quarterback expects a lot of colleges to stop by and that might mean more offers.
The latest offer for Dillon, a 6-foot-5, 185-pound prospect who was one of the better quarterbacks at the Los Angeles NIKE Camp, came from Colorado and the Buffaloes are definitely moving up his list.

"It was awesome," Dillon said of his recent Colorado trip.
"It is definitely a school that's high on my list right now. My brother got to go with us and my dad and they loved it, too. They just made us feel really at home there and it was cool."
Coaches from USC, UCLA, Colorado, Colorado State, Utah, Arizona, Cincinnati and Harvard have all stopped by Dillon's school recently and many others are expected once spring practice starts this week.
"I think the next week or two when spring ball starts will definitely be crazy at school," Dillon said.
So far, Dillon has offers from Arizona, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida State, Ohio State and Vanderbilt. In his junior season, he threw for 2,982 yards with 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Like last summer, Dillon plans to travel around to a bunch of schools on the "Rock Tour" with quarterbacks coach George Whitfield. Early on in his senior season Dillon plans to make his commitment.
"I'm probably going to make my decision at the start of my senior year, probably around September or August, after I go on the tour," Dillon said.
