Dielman headed to Pac-12

J.J. Dielman had liked Utah for a long time and finally on Tuesday the Phoenix (Ariz.) Desert Vista offensive guard committed to the Utes.
It is a nice pickup for Utah which continues to add quality offensive linemen to its 2012 recruiting class.

"I committed because I love the coaches and Utah itself," Dielman said. "I knew it was a great spot for me."
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive lineman also had offers from Fresno State, San Diego State, San Jose State, UNLV and Northern Arizona. Both instate Pac-12 schools, Arizona and Arizona State, were also showing interest.
Dielman, who helped lead his Phoenix Desert Vista team to a 13-1 record this season, said he does not plan to take any other official visits unless something changes with the Utah coaching staff.
"If everything stays the same then the only visit I'm going to take is to Utah," Dielman said.
It has been a productive two-day stretch for the Utes, who received a commitment from three-star junior college offensive lineman Alexandru Ceachir on Monday.
Dielman could be a prospect that is brought along slowly as he continues to add weight to his frame and then be utilized in a couple seasons.
According to UteZone.com, Dielman had been a silent commit for a while and has now decided to go public with his pledge.
