Did Toal stay local

Wyckoff (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep linebacker Brian Toal had a tough choice to make. Does he stay local and head to Boston College or Rutgers or does he go away from home and pick Miami, Tennessee or Penn State?
"I'm committed to Boston College," said the 6-foot-2, 228-pounder earlier today in an exclusive interview with Rivals.com. "It was a tough decision really, it came down to Miami and BC. I just felt that BC was the best fit for me and gave me the chance to make an impact right away."

Toal, the No. 25 player in the country, committed to BC live on ESPN during their 4PM EST hour. He chose the Eagles in front of friends and family at the New York ESPN SportsZone.
"I enjoyed the recruiting process, it was fun," he said. "It became a little tiring near the end, but overall it was a good experience. I talked things over with my family the last couple of nights and decided that BC was where I wanted to spend the next four years."
Toal is expected to be an immediate starter for the Eagles at weakside linebacker.
