Did The Hokies Get Minor Commitment

There has been much speculation about whether or not Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson cornerback Roland Minor has committed to the Virginia Tech Hokies. So has he?
"I committed to them not last Wednesday but the Wednesday before that," said the 6-foot-1, 177-pounder with 4.4-second speed in the 40-yard dash. "I was offered a couple of days before that and just took a few days to decide."

Minor, who is considered to be one of the top players in the D.C. area, had offers from Temple and Penn State and interest from Virginia and Maryland.
"Tech has my major -- business management -- and they have a great football program as well," he said. "It was a great mix. I also liked my recruiting coach Tony Ball."
Minor has led his team to a 4-1 record so far with four interceptions on defense and five touchdowns as a wideout on offense. For Minor, choosing Virginia Tech was as easy as picking off passes.
"I visited Tech for their game against Marshall and I've been there before to tour the campus," he said. "When they offered me, it was an easy decision."
