Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite linebacker Aaron Harris was slated to be on an official visit to Florida State this weekend. So did he make it?
"I got a call Friday morning from the coaches and they said there was some problems with the travel arrangements and that it would take too long for me to get there," Harris, a 6-foot, 230-pound four-star linebacker, said.
"I wanted to go pretty bad, but I ended up watching it on TV. I also watched the Texas game and parts of the Oklahoma game."
Speaking of Texas and Oklahoma, Harris said he's now lined up official visits with both schools and he hopes to re-work things with Florida State.
"I'm going to visit Oklahoma on Dec. 7 and Texas on Dec. 14," Harris said. "I'm still going to visit Texas A&M, and I'll definitely re-work things with Florida State."
Harris said right now he's still going back and forth between leaders.
"One minute it's Texas, and then it's Oklahoma, and then it's A&M," he said. "But I also felt bad because I didn't get to go to Florida State, so I don't know what all that means.”
