Did Terps Sell Jefferson

Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park linebacker Wes Jefferson is arguably the top target of the Maryland Terrapins this season. So how did his official visit go?
"It was fun, I had a really good time," said the 6-foot-2, 230-pounder. "It was a big weekend for Maryland and most of the top players in the state were there. I knew most of those guys but I got to meet some others as well."

Jefferson, who has also visited Miami on an official visit, said the Terps impressed him quite a bit but he didn't think about committing.
"I knew I wasn't going to commit," he said. "I want to take all five of my visits if I can and then make a good decision. I really like Maryland a lot, but I have some others to see as well and Miami was impressive."
Next up for Jefferson is Ohio State on Jan. 10, then Notre Dame on Jan. 17 and possibly Penn State on Jan. 24.
"If I don't go to Penn State, I probably won't take a fifth trip," he said. "I'll probably take it though."
With most of the top Maryland players at College Park this weekend, did anyone commit?
"I don't think so, but I don't know for sure," he said. "I know everyone talked a little bit about all going to Maryland together and making it the power of the ACC, but I'm sure we're all going to do what's right for each of us."
