Did OL Commit

A little rumor had been going around on a few recruiting sites that 6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive tackle Joshua Eames from Cape May (N.J.) Lower Cape May Regional had given a verbal commitment to Rutgers. That’s exactly what it is, a rumor.
“No, I didn’t verbal to anyone. I don’t even have an offer from Rutgers yet.”

At this time in the recruiting process, Josh has two offers.
“Right now I have offers from Vanderbilt and the coach from Army told me they want me as well.”
For now Josh likes seven schools including Vanderbilt, Army, Penn State, Virginia, UConn, Maryland and Rutgers. He will be attending the UConn-Georgia Tech game on Sept. 7 and the Penn State-Nebraska game on Sept. 14.
“I’m looking forward to going to those games. They are not official visits, but I will be able to see the campuses and talk with the coaches. I’m looking forward to that.”
With a GPA of 4.0 and an SAT score of 1,300, Josh should begin to see the recruiting pick up once the season starts.
“Most of the schools are telling me that they want a tape of my first two games. I plan on sending out tape to a dozen schools in September.”
