Did Larimores visit put Michigan over the top

Merrillville, Ind., defensive tackle Dexter Larimore, who has scholarship offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, and Purdue for football, and Michigan State and Iowa State for wrestling, has narrowed things down to two schools after making his official visit to Ann Arbor.
"It went very well," Larimore said of his visit with the Wolverines. "They've picked up their recruiting a lot. I thought it was a very good visit.

"Coach Carr said they really want me. He can see me playing there and hopefully in a couple years I could make a difference he said."
However Larimore will complete his official visits with a trip to Ohio State Dec. 2 before making a decision.
"I want to make it an even playing field," Larimore said. "It's pretty much down to Ohio State and Michigan. I'll definitely visit Ohio State, then decide. I'd like to decide by the end of December."
Larimore's visit helped the Wolverines gain ground on the Buckeyes.
"Right now I don't have a favorite," Larimore said. "Coming into it, Ohio State was a little farther along. But this visit opened my eyes to Michigan.
"I'm going to the Michigan-Ohio State game on an unofficial visit. It will be a fun game."
The 6-foot-3 and 265-pound Larimore has led Merrillville to an 11-2 record and a spot in the final four in the Indiana state playoffs.
