Did Jayhawks make move on Northwestern
Jenks, Okla., three-star athlete Andrew Brewer was in Lawrence, Kan., this weekend on an official visit and it was a visit that has pushed him closer toward a final decision.
“I’m getting close,” Brewer, who is 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, said.

“I’ll probably decide within the next week. It’s down to Northwestern and Kansas. After the visit this weekend, I need some time to think things over.”
Brewer said he was impressed with Kansas.
“They have a lot of good things going for it,” Brewer said. “I like the facilities and they have a great coach. Coach Mangino knows what he’s doing. There were a lot of good things that I enjoyed. I liked being around the team, and it was a pretty good visit.”
Good enough to knock Northwestern from the top spot on his list?
“I’m still leaning toward Northwestern,” he said.
