Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood offensive lineman Stephon Heyer is back from his visit to Maryland. Did the Terps make up ground on Michigan - where he visited two weekends ago?
"I think Maryland did to some extent," Hayer, who is 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, said. "It was a nice campus and the coaches made a great impression on me. They said they would like to build an offensive line class around guys like me."

So did he like Maryland enough to push the Terps over Michigan?
"I still would say Michigan leads," Hayer said. "I still have more trips to take, but I'd like to make my decision before Christmas."
Hayer is now set to visit UGA this weekend, followed by a visit to UVA on Dec. 14.
"I'm interested to see what those two trips are like," Hayer said. "Georgia is really close to home, and Virginia has some great academics."
