Arlington (Texas) Lamar linebacker Garnet Smith is committed to Texas still, right? Reports had him visiting Arkansas this weekend, so what did Smith have to say about that?
"No, I didn't go and I'm not going anywhere else," Smith, who has had limited access to the media since his commitment to Texas, said.

"I'm not really supposed to be talking to reporters, but I didn't visit Arkansas. I don’t know where people got that from."
When Smith was asked if he watched Texas in the Big 12 Championship game and if the loss was going to make any kind of difference, the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder didn't seem too concerned.
"That doesn't matter," he said. "I lost six games this year. Losing two games doesn't sound so bad to me."
