Dickson down to two

Every year Sylmar, Calif., sends a player or two the D-I level and this season is no different. One of the players who will one day end up on a D-I roster is athlete Joe Dickson (6-1, 180, 4.4). Though this talented athlete has heard from a lot of schools he has narrowed it to two.
The winners for the services of Dickson are Washington and Oregon State.

Dickson will visit Washington this coming weekend January 9th and will head to Corvallis and the Oregon State campus on January 16th.
Why did the talented Dickson choose Washington and Oregon State?
“(Oregon State standout corner) Brandon Browner is my boy,” Dickson said. “So is (Washington true frosh corner) Clarence Simpson.”
Both Browner and Simpson were standouts at Sylmar. Browner of course was a standout corner for Oregon State this past season and has had several post season honors including freshman All-American.
Simpson a true frosh has a huge future ahead of him.
Dickson is another huge talent from Sylmar who is destined for Pac10 play.
Dickson was outstanding on both sides of the ball. On offense, Dickson had 36 receptions for 1,007 yards and eight touchdowns.
Maybe his most impressive stat is his nine touchdowns as a return man.
Dickson returned five kickoffs and four punt returns for touchdowns. That is what we call a lethal return man.
Dickson also played cornerback though he didn’t get much action; the opposition rarely threw to his side.
