Larry Dibbles, the highly sought defensive lineman from Lancaster, Texas, told the Dallas Morning News that he has made a decision on where he plans to attend college.
He committed to Texas yesterday.
"From the outside looking in, it looks like a nice Christmas present for me and for Texas," Dibbles told the Morning News.
Dibbles visited Texas and Oklahoma in December and had whittled his choice to the Longhorns and Sooners before making his final choice. He also considered Texas A&M and Notre Dame.
Dibbles lists at 6-foot-2, 275 pounds and has reportedly run a 4.58-second 40-yard dash making him one of the quicker defensive line prospects in the country.
The Longhorns now have 22 oral commitments on the campaign and have received commitments from five additional blue chip prospects since their Dec. 14 banquet weekend.
