Hackensack, N.J. linebacker Jermaine Dias took his first official visit this past weekend and came away impressed.
"It was like my fourth or fifth time down to Maryland," said the 6-foot-2, 215-pounder who visited the Terps this weekend. "I didn't like the place the first time I went down there but I'm glad I went back the second time. Now I really feel comfortable there. It's a great place."
Dias said he likes the chance to play early at Maryland and the fact that it's the closest school to home. However, he's not ready to make a decision.

"I have three more trips to take and then I'll decide," he said. "North Carolina is Jan. 10, Virginia is Jan. 17 and Boston College is Jan. 24. By then I'll have a great idea where I feel most comfortable and how early I can impact."
Dias isn't getting tired of the process just yet.
"It's not bad since I have it down to four schools," he said. "I can handle that much. I am positive I'll take all four trips before I do anything."
