Favorite Colleges: Schwartz is becoming a hot item on the recruiting trail. He is getting recruiting action from the likes of UCLA, USC, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Washington State, Colorado, Nebraska, Michigan, Alabama and more.
Skinny: Schwartz is a neophyte to the game of football and a diamond in the rough with unlimited potential. Once he gets some polishing on the next level there is no telling how good this guy is going to be. His junior season was his first playing offense and he was selected all-league. His first season playing football was his freshman season.
Schwartz has come a long way. Now he plays both ways and is on all the special teams except the kickoff team. Another skill that Schwartz has acquired that will help his recruitment is his long snapping abilities.
Schwartz is a good all-around athlete who is a contributor for three sports on the varsity level. Besides football, Schwartz starts as center on the basketball team and pitches on the baseball team.
The Pali baseball coaches received a letter from Cal asking if there was anyone on the team that they should know about. Schwartz was one of three players named.
The amazing thing about Schwartz is he hasn’t spent a lot of time in the weight room since he moves from one sport to another. Once he starts a weightlifting program he’s only going to get bigger, stronger and better.
Schwartz is looking for a college with a good academic reputation and a place where he fits in with the culture of the school. Lastly Schwartz want to play for a coach that will help him learn about sport and life lessons.
Schwartz is a fast rising prospect.
