After being recently ranked by Rivals.com as a four-star prospect and one of the nation's top 250 players, Di Poalo has become a hot target on the recruiting front. He already had offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, UNLV and Washington.
On Friday, Di Poalo, who is 6-foot-4 and 260 pounds, added another impressive Pac 10 offer.
"I got my offer from Stanford," Di Poalo said. "I'm really excited about this one. It's a good cornerstone in recruiting to have an offer from a quality program and a quality academic institution like Stanford."
The Cardinal offer came from assistant coach Andy Buh, Di Poalo said. He said it's a tempting offer for sure, but he doesn't know if the new offer will fast forward his recruiting process.
"I'm not sure what this is going to do for me," he said. "It's these type of offers that make me have to think about what my future is and when I want to make a decision."
