Recruiters have been checking on Pittsburgh (Pa.) Mt. Lebanon tight end Andrew Devlin in the past week and one visit resulted in a scholarship offer for Devlin.
"West Virginia offered when they came to my school (last) Monday," Devlin said. "Ohio State was at my school Monday too. Coach (Joe) Daniels came by."
The Mountaineers are not the only school to offer a scholarship to the 6-foot-6 and 255-pound Devlin.

"My dad and I went to Virginia and Maryland two weeks ago for spring practice," Devlin said. "They both offered when I was down there."
Devlin previously had offers from Pitt, Iowa, Rutgers, Akron and Connecticut.
Devlin has a number of other visits in mind.
"We have a trip planned out west to see Stanford in two weeks," he said. "And I'm going to make a trip to see Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Iowa and Wisconsin early in the summer. And I'll probably go south to visit some schools."
Devlin's decision will likely come later in the summer.
"I'm real open right now," he said. "But I think I want to decide before the season, probably in August."
Devlin plays both tight end and defensive end. He caught 12 passes and had four sacks during his junior season. Devlin could play either position in college.
