Devine misses one trip, makes another

North Fort Myers, Fla. running back Noel Devine has pretty much narrowed down his list of schools to three -- Florida State, Alabama and West Virginia. With just over a week left before Signing Day, it seems that the winner in this race could very well be the school he actually visits.
"Noel missed his trip to Florida State, he missed his flight," said North Fort Myers head coach James Iandoli. "FSU is still going to try to get Noel on campus between now and when he makes his decision though, they aren't giving up."

However, Devine did make his trip to Alabama.
"I know he got off okay on that trip," he said. "He was getting back late on Monday night so I haven't talked to him about the visit yet."
Did his mentor, Deion Sanders, make the trip with him?
"No, Deion didn't go," he said. "Noel went by himself."
Devine already has his visit set with West Virginia for next weekend.
"I have the itinerary already so they're on top of it," he said. "I'm still not sure if he's going to sign with someone on Signing Day or take a visit after, but I don't think he's a big fan of the process. I'd expect him to decide sooner than later."
And what are his prep school options if he has to go that route due to academics?
"He visited Milford Academy and I know that kind of inspired him even more to get qualified," he said. "He liked the people there but he realized that if he's going to get away from home he wants it to be to college. He hasn't been to Hargrave yet as far as I know, I think the prep stuff is on the back burner now. He has a chance to qualify and he's working hard on it."
