Despite troubles, Elliot makes pledge

Tulsa (Okla.) TSST three-star athlete Printiss Elliot has been rumored to be an Oklahoma State commitment for about two weeks now, however, the star athlete has been avoiding talking to the media because of a recent off-the-field situation.
However, in a Rivals100.com exclusive, Elliot talks about his status and what’s the latest with his legal issues.

“I’m through with the recruiting process,” he said. “I committed to Oklahoma State a few days after my visit in December. I’m very excited to be a Cowboy. In fact, I’m on the other line with (Todd) Monken. I know he and coach Miles are really excited about having me.”
Elliot was one of the nation’s hottest recruits, including offers from Colorado, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kansas, Kansas State, TCU, but he ran into a major off-the-field situation that led to an arrest for assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest for his alleged role in a fight at one of his basketball games.
Elliot, however, said things look to be clearing up.
“It’s all taken care of,” Elliot said. “I’m not going to have to worry about it. I’m just working out and getting ready to be a Cowboy.”
Elliot said he picked OSU for a number of reasons.
“They have a great system,” he said. “I know I can get a great education and it’s going to be a great situation for me.”
Elliot is ranked as the nation’s No. 17 athlete by Rivals.com.
